Centralised cooling supply for Landshut Hospital
A centralised refrigeration system has been installed for the commercial kitchen at Landshut Hospital. The system supplies standard refrigeration, deep-freeze areas, blast freezers and rapid coolers via a centrally controlled system with a visualisation interface and secure remote access.
Centralised cooling supply for Landshut Hospital: A high-performance system was installed for the central commercial kitchen at Landshut Hospital Refrigeration plant installed. Normal cooling is provided by a Cold brine system, which is published by Propane chillers is supplied. For frozen food sections, blast freezer and Rapid cooler subcritical CO₂ refrigeration units used as satellites.
Planning and implementation: The planning was carried out as an integrated W+M Planning with a coordinated design of all Refrigeration, brine and distribution components. This meant that the plant could be implemented as a centrally co-ordinated supply system.
The cold brine system is used to ten central cold stores and over 30 cooling points reliably supplied.
An overview of the technical features: A key feature of the plant is the full redundancy of all pumps. This ensures that operations remain unaffected even in the event of partial failures.
The dynamic operation flexibly adapts capacity to the current needs of the kitchen and storage areas.
Control and remote access: A key Control system with Visualisation and Remote access enables transparent and secure plant management. Secure remote monitoring and control facilitate rapid responses during operation.
Design: The technical control centre was built in Indoors and outdoors has been implemented and meets particularly high standards in terms of the Sound insulation.
