The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. This may primarily include IP addresses, contact enquiries, meta and communication data, as well as other data generated via a website.

The hoster is used for the purpose of contract fulfilment towards our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The servers are located in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the hoster in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have a right to rectification, restriction, deletion or restriction of processing of this data, as well as a right to data portability. You may revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future; the lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected. For this and any further questions on the subject of data protection, you are welcome to contact us at any time at the address given above. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent authority is the data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Cookies and tracking

This website deliberately does without cookies and tracking. No analysis, reach measurement or marketing tools are used, no profiling takes place, and no cookies are set for analysis or advertising purposes. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

Server log files

The provider of the pages (our hoster) automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Contact and enquiry form

If you send us enquiries via a form on this website (e.g. contact or project enquiry), your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, are processed by us or by the commissioned service providers (see "E-mail dispatch") for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where this has been requested. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

The data you enter in the form remain with us until you ask us to delete them, withdraw your consent to their storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Applications

If you apply to us via an application form or by e-mail, we process the application data you submit (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, cover letter) for the purpose of carrying out the application process. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of an employment relationship) in conjunction with § 26 BDSG. If no employment relationship is established, the application data will be deleted after completion of the process, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate interests (e.g. proof obligations) prevent this.

Email dispatch (data processing)

For the reliable dispatch of messages received via our forms (e.g. enquiry and application notifications), we use the email service provider Resend:

The data entered in the form is transmitted to Resend for delivery of the e-mail and processed there. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable e-mail delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as the message serves to initiate a contract. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Resend. As Resend may also process data in the USA, the transfer is safeguarded by appropriate guarantees pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (in particular the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission).

Locally hosted fonts

This website uses exclusively fonts stored locally on our server for the uniform display of typefaces. When the pages are accessed, no connection is established to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts); no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

External links and social media profiles

This website only includes links to our profiles on social networks (including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) as well as to a location search on Google Maps. These are exclusively simple links – no plugins, "Like" buttons, maps or videos from the providers mentioned are embedded directly into this website. A connection to the servers of these providers and any possible data transfer only occurs if you actively click on the respective link and visit the external page. We have no influence on the type and scope of the data processed there; the data protection provisions of the respective provider apply.

Objection to advertising emails

We hereby expressly object to the use of contact details published within the scope of the legal notice obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, for example through spam emails.

Protection of minors

Children and persons under the age of 18 should not submit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request personal data from children, do not collect it, and do not pass it on to third parties.
