Modular technical and air-conditioning containers for industrial refrigeration systems
KSI Kältetechnik plans, equips and installs modular Technical and air-conditioning containers for industrial applications. The systems are largely pre-assembled at the factory and simply connected to the existing pipework on site. This reduces the effort involved, installation time and disruption at the site to a minimum.
Planning and system design: The containers are available in lengths of 4.0 m to 16.0 m They are manufactured to order and can be fitted out to suit specific projects. Customised solutions exceeding these dimensions can also be arranged by mutual agreement. If the available floor space on site is insufficient, several containers can be combined to form a single system, including in a stacked configuration.
Pre-assembled complete solution: Depending on requirements, the containers are fitted out with a full range of equipment, from the Refrigeration unit about Pumps, hydraulic points, Soundproof cabinets and Control valves right up to Recooling on the roof. This creates a ready-to-use unit for refrigeration in an industrial setting.
Technical features: The systems are designed for short lead times, high energy efficiency and designed for rapid commissioning. The entire system is assembled at the factory, transported to the construction site and then simply connected to the pipework there. Compared with a complete on-site assembly, this significantly reduces both time and costs.
Energy efficiency and control: The following are used variable-displacement pumps, precisely adjustable Control valves as well as a recooler designed for efficiency. Among others, the following were mentioned: 20 per cent land reserve as well as wider fin spacings, to keep the level of contamination constant throughout the service life.
Refrigeration: The following are used for refrigeration: turbocharger used. They ensure low inrush currents and high energy efficiency for the system. The system is designed as a well-thought-out and readily available solution for the specific application.
