KSI Kältetechnik is a growing company operating throughout Germany in the field of industrial refrigeration, air conditioning and energy technology. We plan and realise demanding refrigeration and energy systems – from the technical concept through plant engineering to commissioning and support for existing systems.

Particular focus is placed on energy-efficient solutions using natural refrigerants as well as applications in data centres, medical technology and the food industry. It is precisely there that secure supply systems, thermal energy flows, efficiency and operational reliability play a central role.

The dual study programme is carried out in cooperation with the Duale Hochschule Sachsen at the Glauchau campus in the Building Services Engineering and Environmental Technology degree programme – Thermal Energy Technology and Supply Systems.

Your tasks

• You learn about the planning and design of refrigeration, air conditioning and energy systems
• You support the development of plant, energy and supply concepts
• You gain insights into thermal energy systems, pipe hydraulics and building services engineering
• You take part in projects for data centres, medical technology and the food industry
• You accompany experienced project managers, engineers and technicians in their day-to-day work
• You support calculations, technical concepts, documentation and project records
• You get to know construction sites, customer projects and practical plant engineering first-hand
• You combine the theoretical content from your studies with concrete projects at KSI Kältetechnik

Your profile

• You have a general higher education entrance qualification, a technical college entrance qualification or a comparable qualification
• You are interested in energy, technology, the environment and sustainable supply systems
• You have a good understanding of mathematics, physics and technical relationships
• You don't just want to learn theory, but get involved directly in practice
• You work carefully, reliably and enjoy working in a team
• You are motivated, keen to learn and want to take on responsibility
• You are interested in refrigeration and air conditioning technology, energy efficiency, data centres and industrial systems
