Project description

We are proud to have created and successfully implemented an individually designed technology center for our customer.

At the heart of this system is a refrigeration unit, which is crucial for regulating the temperature of a fresh food store and thus ensuring optimum food storage. The system was implemented using natural refrigerants.

Technical information

Administration and logistics:

Hot water and cold brine distribution and generation are efficient and sustainable. Heat recovery takes place via the refrigeration system with a high capacity of 180kW for hot water HT 55°C and 470kW for hot water NT 35°C.

The hot water and brine production by the heat pump offers 200kW for hot water NT 35°C, 150kW for cold brine -3°C and has an electrical output of 90kW. The refrigerant used is NH3 – R717.

The hot water generation by Power to Heat offers 150kW for hot water NT 35°C with an electrical output of 150kW.

The cold brine generation offers a high capacity of 800kW at -3°C with an electrical output of 360kW. The refrigerant used is also NH3 – R717.

Building control:

Heating is provided efficiently via the floor. The offices are air-conditioned with chilled water cassettes. The blinds are controlled for three conditions: cooling protection, solar radiation and wind and frost (safety).

Cold storage rooms:

The dimensions of the freezer anteroom are 50 m x 20 m x 10 m and those of the production hall 90 m x 90 m x 10 m. The air coolers are operated with modulating EC fans and the return flow is controlled with a two-way valve and sensor.

In addition, we have installed an advanced vacuum degassing system in a fresh food center. This state-of-the-art system removes oxygen from the cold brine, significantly extending its shelf life. It is important to understand that an excessive concentration of oxygen in the brine can lead to its decomposition and often cause failures in the refrigeration system. Our sophisticated solution helps to avoid such problems and thus ensures the efficiency and longevity of the entire refrigeration system.
