We base our actions on the highest ethical standards, integrity and fairness, and are committed to complying with all applicable laws, guidelines and market standards. For us, this forms the basis on which we work in a spirit of trust with our private and business customers, institutional clients and partners.
Compliance At KSI Kältetechnik, compliance encompasses more than just acting in a proper and lawful manner in all areas of business. Compliance is also an integral part of our corporate culture and thus forms the basis of our corporate responsibility.
General principles in a business context
Economic success and social responsibility are not mutually exclusive. For us, sustainable and responsible conduct is one of the most important foundations for respectful and cooperative collaboration with our business partners. We create added value for our customers, our employees and our shareholders.
We are committed to conducting our business with integrity. In particular, we comply with all applicable laws, such as anti-corruption, data protection, competition, anti-money laundering and environmental legislation.
At the same time, we are committed to ensuring that our business partners and subcontractors promote and adhere to the principles we have set out, so that we can operate honestly, fairly and responsibly. We are mindful of our social responsibility. We operate in an entrepreneurial spirit, with confidence, courage and a focus on performance, with the aim of achieving the best possible results. The commitment and skills of each individual form the basis for this. Openness and mutual respect characterise our working relationships. We are reliable and honest, credible and of high integrity. Compliance is a matter of course for us.
HUMAN RIGHTS / EMPLOYEE RIGHTS – We respect human rights and support compliance with them; we do not tolerate discrimination in the recruitment and employment of staff; we strictly oppose child labour; and we pay our staff a fair wage. This meets, as a minimum, the relevant national and local legal standards or levels.
In particular, we comply with the statutory regulations on the minimum wage. The development of our staff is of particular importance to us. Health and safety at work are our top priority.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION – We comply with the environmental standards applicable to us and regard environmental protection as a core corporate value. When constructing facilities and developing services, we ensure that the resulting impact on the environment and climate is kept to a minimum, and that our own products make a positive contribution to environmental and climate protection for our customers. Each of our employees bears responsibility for conserving and treating our natural resources with care, and for contributing to the protection of the environment and the climate through their individual and prudent behaviour.
DONATIONS / SPONSORSHIP – We see ourselves as an active member of society and are therefore involved in a variety of ways. We make donations and engage in other forms of social commitment solely in the interests of the company. We do not make any financial contributions, in particular donations or sponsorship, to political parties at home or abroad, to organisations affiliated with or similar to political parties, to individual elected representatives or to candidates for political office.
REPORTING OBLIGATIONS – All our staff ensure that our company’s internal and external reports, records and other documents comply with the applicable legal regulations and standards, and are therefore always complete and accurate.
IMPLEMENTATION – Our managers serve as role models. Their actions are a particularly clear measure of how well we uphold our principles. They are the first point of contact for any queries regarding the interpretation of our policies and ensure that all staff are familiar with and understand our principles. As part of their daily duties, they prevent unacceptable behaviour and take appropriate measures to prevent breaches of the rules within their area of responsibility. Trust-based and constructive cooperation between employees and managers is reflected in honest and open communication and mutual support.
